Hardware

The KUKA youBot is a mobile manipulator with a 5-DOF manipulator and an omni-directional mobile platform. It is one candidate system for use in RoboCup@Work.

BRICS is a Collaborative Project funded under the European Union's Seventh Framework Programme (FP7). The prime objective of BRICS is to structure and formalize the robot development process itself and to provide tools, models, and functional libraries, which help accelerating this process significantly.
euRobotics targets two main objectives: the improvement of cooperation between industry and academia and the enhancement of public perception of (European) robotics. The project started on January 1, 2010 and is funded by the European Commission within the 7th Framework Programme.
